Hi, my dance name is Phoenix-Sahar.

   I am a performer, and teacher of Egyptian Bellydance.

   I trained in Ballroom Dancing and then Modern Disco.

   I always had a fascination with the Middle East,

   especially Egypt, so when I had the chance, I learnt

   Bellydancing, not only the dance, but also the music,

   rhythms, history, and culture.

 

   My first Bellydance teacher was Charlotte Desorgher

   I have also learnt from Colette Dolan, Beatrice Curtis,

   Khaled Mahmoud, Galit Mersand, Kay Taylor, Candi,

   Anne Kingston, Melanie Norman and Anne White.

   International teachers inc Raqia Hassan, Aida Nour,

   Yasmina of Cairo, Aziza, Leila Haddad, Shafeek Ibrahim,

   Serena Ramzy, Randa Kamel, Lubna and Asmahan.

 

I passed my JWAAD Foundation Course, to teach Bellydancing safely.

I prefer earthy, sensual dance with feeling and emotion, especially Baladi

and Saaidi.

I choreograph some of my own dances, train, teach, rehearse and attend 
lots of workshops, as I love this dance, and its culture, so much !!
