Below are several class choreographies......
I have added 4 new choreographies..PHEW!! Beginners called L'Histoire, Intermediate called Moonrise and Advanced called Ya Salam Ya Salam, Advanced Assaya (Stick) called Sharp Dressed Man, ZZ Top, all at the bottom of this page. We are still learning these. Please attend all classes as it's difficult to catch up.
Aah Ya Layel (cut to 3 mins) choreography by Phoenix-Sahar
Intro 2 x Camels to the right diagonal – hands low behind back
Bring left leg forward – 3x left Hipdrops – front, middle and back – right arm straight up – left arm in front.
Kenya – left leg – bring right arm down in front of body – Kenya – right leg – both arm down low behind back
Chorus 2x Camels to the left diagonal– as above 3x right Hipdrops as above. Kenya
3x backward Camels – bringing right arm up Both arms down - feet together.
Step with right foot then Hipflick left, same arm pointing forward (soft arms as if brushing hair) – repeat right, left, right

Shamandora Choreography by Phoenix-Sahar [adapted from Charlotte Desorgher’s]
Freestyle then Randa Pose
1) Facing left diag. Simple step x 2 on right foot. (Second one is a bit snaky) Three step turn right then double hip drops with the foot forward then back. Repeat left
2) Jazz reach (arm reaches out, with a rib cage isolation and then pulls in with tension. The foot goes out and in too.) Right then left. Maya down slow, slow, quick, quick, quick. Fig 8 up with a level change (flat ball, ball) x2. Then maya down on three beats, fourth beat is a contraction, then 5,6,7,8 is a body wave up.
3) Pendulum jumps. Left leg swings out so weight is on right leg, repeat r,l,r (One count for each). Then three step turn to right and shoulder roll. Repeat to left.
4)Carrie-anne. Face right diag. Step Rf, touch Lf, step back Lf, touch back Rf, change weight backwards (now your weight is on the right foot with the left foot in front) Hip drops x 2 then step forward onto relevee then heels down as you turn to face opposite diagonal. Repeat starting with the left foot.
5) ‘Yasmina’ hip hits (these are little buttock clenches rather than big hip hits) four to the right (in a bit of a semi circle) and four to the left. Horiz fig 8 backwards then step to right and turn to face back. Repeat to back.
6) 2 camels to right, 2 to left followed by shonk [left shoulder snap] to turn to right, repeat three times. Then turning in a circle to the left, six Randa hip drops followed by a fall back on the right foot, right arm straight.
7) Shafeek. 2 shuffels to right diagonal with double hiphits and hand pushes, then left, then right again. Lift hop on right foot, left forward pushing hip forward and opening arms, triple steps back LR, three quick jazz reaches RLR, half large hip circle R to L, then spin around to the left to face front, right arm up to ceiling.
8) Hiphit R,L, R then shimmy on the right leg. Hiphit L,R,L then undulate (facing left). Hiphit R,L,R then shimmy on left leg. Finally, hit L,R,L then wait and a sudden big hip circle round back, left to right..
9) There’s another half phrase here. Repeat second section of combination 2.[myas up x4 x2,down x4, bodywave up]
10) Rf, simple step then step to right and draw Lf in. Dina camel slow 1, then 2 quick. Rep to left.
11) As 10) but instead of Dina camels do 4 x hip drops on left hip, then tiny hip drops 4 x forward, 4 x back. Then finally, Yasmina hip hits 4 to left side, 4 to right.
12) Twist steps starting on right foot going diagonal right for 4 followed by horizontal 8’s starting with R.[Slow,slow down, quick,quick,quick up] 4 twist steps to left on left foot, turn to back, 3 slinky steps to walk to back,spin on left foot to face front. End in Randa Pose
